RIP Club D
I just got news that yesterday's Club Directory will be the last for a while due to our less than fruitful economy. It's been a fun ride.

Tha Baranoff is tied with the Ballard Smoke shop for my favorite dive bar in Seattle. The bartenders and patrons never change and they aren't afraid to tell you what they really think.
This guy got a little frisky on me.

Here's CJ, who doesn't have email but promises her man friend will contact me to get a copy of this. CJ is sweetheart, and a good sport for letting some strange woman with a camera wearing a "show me your riffs" Sleater-Kinney shirt take her picture (In exchange, I gave her veto power. This was her fave).

Our beloved McLeod Residence is closing its doors this weekend. Tomorrow is their last night open to the public, and they're having some crazy Halloween party to celebrate. Thank you, Buster and Lele for serving up some unforgettable parties over the past couple years!

This week it's the Drift On Inn Roadhouse and Casino on north Aurora Ave in Seattle (not to be confused with the Drift Inn in East Quogue, Long Island, where I spent a rather un-fun night in 98). They don't allow cameras anywhere other than the small strip of bar, where I found this guy belly up drinking coke from aTaco Bell cup. Gotta love Aurora Ave!

Their cook models the ultimate fashion accessory.
Sorry so short - gotta pack!
Caught these two cats on their way out. How purrfect, no? (sorry, I had to. blame my mother.)
Here's Jen & Amy with me at the Twilight Exit last Saturday night. It was late. We were goofy.
If you read this thing at all you already know who Amy is but Jen is a new discovery. She's visiting from LA where she runs a rad lingerie shop called Panty Raid. Yes, Panty Raid! Pretty effin' awesome.
Bargoers at the Capitol Club on Capitol Hill. We didn't have a chance to talk but they look like fun peeps.

Welcome to the Funhouse. 20 points (Yes, twenty! Twice the amount of my previous offer. Think of all the tchotchkes you could buy!) if you can name the sliver of a guy in the back right of this photo. Hint: ginger lemondrops. Mmmmmm.

It's Thursday, and that means Club Directory time. This week it's Jai Thai on Broadway where I had a a few drinks with some lady photog friends. I was waiting on a Basil Hayden Mint Julep at the bar and this lady gave me the eye.
UPDATE: What a goober. Today is Wednesday. Oh well - I'm taking tomorrow off!
